Position Summary

GNS is seeking an Account Manager - Managed Care to play an integral role in delivering new products and models to our key clients. Working effectively at all levels of GNS and client organizations, the Account Manager - Managed Care will translate the value and actionability of GNS’s products and solutions to the problems our clients are seeking to solve. The Account Manager - Managed Care will leverage her/his domain knowledge and operational experience to influence internal business development, data science, and support teams to ensure we are meeting client expectations. Through the development of deep, trusting relationships within assigned managed care accounts, the Account Manager - Managed Care will be responsible for the overall success of the client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • As primary point-of-contact to assigned managed care accounts, establish and maintain collaborative and trusting relationships with key client stakeholders and ensure that we are delivering on our commitments as a game-changing, value-added provider of our causal machine learning product.
  • Contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of our solutions and work closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
  • Develop productive working relationships with GNS’s data modelers to understand the models, and convey the actionable insights and application of them back to clients in a way that adds value to the business problems we are contracted to solve.
  • Develop polished deliverables and other documentation to enable customer success.
  • Work directly with clients in onboarding new relationships, managing engagement deployment and support, growing revenues within existing accounts through value-added services, and renewing for longer-term relationships.
  • Manage and anticipate client expectations, as well as any critiques of our work; address challenges before they become risks.
  • Coordinate decision making and provide direction to customer support teams to ensure sound execution of business and operational requirements in order to achieve customer objectives.
  • Proactively monitor client relationships to ensure continued high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Successfully lead, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams including, business development, data science, and operations support to ensuring timely and successful project delivery
  • Through a comprehensive understanding of the client and GNS products, leverage insight into current and future market dynamics in healthcare to create new revenue-generating opportunities for the company and its products within these assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to support pre-sales efforts. 
  • Travel regularly to meet key client stakeholders to maintain and expand existing services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the Payer/Provider market and healthcare IT-focused organizations
  • Demonstrated success in data-driven account management/project delivery positions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Health Science, Data Science, Math, or Business; advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Deep understanding of issues in healthcare and healthcare technology; experience working with highly complex analytics products
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Evidence of ability to build client partnerships, and deploy and manage new and existing accounts in health plans and health systems
  • Demonstrated success expanding product/service adoption in competitive, changing, and current market conditions
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, high-growth, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent leadership acumen with exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Strong writing and verbal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas
  • Experience working in varied organizational structures (Fortune 500 to mid size and small company/start up) with successful introduction of new products/concepts to the market
  • Prior healthcare consulting experience is valuable
  • Experience navigating and collaborating across departments internally and externally
  • Organized, motivated, collaborative team player
  • The ability to travel up to 15%
