The company is expanding its offerings to include a suite of technology products made directly available to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and managed care clients. These clients gain access the same proprietary tools and techniques GNS uses to build and analyze causal inference networks.

To maximize our client’s success, a talented team member (you!) is need to support the rollout, implementation, and longevity of our product offering in conjunction with other supporting team members and company leadership.

We are looking for a team member with a strong background in a quantitative field such as Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or Statistics and exceptional communication skills. You must have an unequivocal passion and excitement for data science and machine learning, be naturally pedagogical and able to explain complex concepts to a diverse set of stakeholders, and maintain an unwavering customer-first mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our customers are successful.

As the Product Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our platform licensees throughout their entire lifecycle.


  • Understand client needs and match them with platform capabilities. The projects will mainly be focused on “omics” areas to support preclinical and clinical stage programs for pharma and biotech organizations
  • Coordinate projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Develop and deliver platform training curriculum for new licensees
  • Deliver technology & application webinars
  • Organize and moderate platform user group meetings
  • Provide scientific and technical support to clients operating the platform by serving as a technical expert in the application of the technology to the client's use cases
  • Demonstrate and communicate the value of the platform to customers
  • Acquire deep understanding of client ecosystem and the role of the product within the organization
  • Manage client expectations
  • Work to transition existing clients into reference clients
  • Rapidly respond to client requests including identifying, clarifying, escalating, and resolving software issues & requests
  • Serve as a liaison to interface between the client and GNS's scientific team to address questions and concerns beyond the scope of the client services manager's expertise
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could inhibit success
  • Actively participate in deal desk discussions pertaining to new REFS platform licenses
  • Work with the Platform product manager to guide product roadmap

Essential skills:

  • A Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or Statistics. Masters-level candidates with 1-3 years of experience working in the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry will also be considered.
  • An ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  • A track record of developing strong & trusting relationships with clients and/or collaborators
  • A passion for networking, teaching, and collaboration
  • Knowledge of one of the statistical programming languages. Experience with R strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the design and execution of large-scale ‘omics studies such as those in the pre-clinical/clinical stages of pharmaceutical drug development
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication skills

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with clients in a service-based capacity
  • Experience in organizing and facilitating technology-based user group meetings
